DCI Partners has announced the development of Data Center San Felipe, an 80 MW IT capacity data center (100 MW maximum site build-out) located in the Aconcagua Valley, approximately 90 kilometers north of Santiago. The site spans 34.6 acres (14 hectares) and is positioned 500 meters from the San Felipe electrical substation, with multiple international trunk fiber systems running in front of the site along Ruta 60.
Unlike data centers concentrated in the Santiago metropolitan corridor, Data Center San Felipe sits directly on the trunk fiber route that connects Chile to Argentina and onwards to the Atlantic submarine cable systems. This gives tenants at San Felipe a dual-market reach — Pacific-facing connectivity through Chile’s established west coast cable infrastructure, and direct eastbound access to the Argentine market and Atlantic systems — from a single Chilean location. For hyperscale operators, cloud providers, and enterprises that need to serve both South American coasts or require low-latency connectivity into Buenos Aires and the broader Argentine market, San Felipe offers a connectivity advantage unavailable in the Santiago data center corridor.
